Founded in 2021 by three friends who met in Mozart’s Salzburg, with members from Portugal, Japan-Brazil, and France, the internationally prize-winning Trio Callas is known for the uniqueness of its expression, born from the coming together of different cultural backgrounds.
The ensemble is regularly invited to perform throughout Europe and on tours to other continents. Since their first overseas appearance in Japan, they have received concert engagements in Canada, the USA, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
In addition to performing the traditional repertoire, the group challenges the boundaries of genre by collaborating with artists from outside classical music whom they enjoy listening to.
